I’ve spent more than 20 years working in emergency response across the armed forces plus the oil and gas sector, including live incident work. Those operational experiences have been used to design and deliver exercises in roles such as operator, coordinator, observer, and invigilator. Alongside that, I’m completing a Master’s in Disaster Resilience and Management, which strengthens the academic base behind the practical work and keeps it current across different risk scenarios.

I bring strong interpersonal and management capabilities, built in high-pressure environments where calm judgement and diplomacy matter, especially in sensitive or contentious situations. Communication is a core strength; stakeholders are kept aligned at every level, internally and externally. Organisation is tight, time is managed well, and delivery is disciplined. Crisis and disaster management methods are well-practised, tested, and applied with confidence.
